VERY SERIOUS:
The exceeding by political parties, by 10% or more, of the limits on election expenses provided for in Organic Law 5/1985, of 19 June, on the General Electoral System, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 134 of said Law.
SANCTION:
A proportional financial penalty of two to five times the amount of the overspending. The penalty shall not be less than EUR 50,000.00.
SERIOUS:
The exceeding by political parties, by more than 3% and by less than 10%, of the limits on election expenses provided for in Organic Law 5/1985 of 19 June on the General Electoral System, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 134 of said Law.
SANCTION:
A proportional financial penalty of two to five times the amount of the overspending. The penalty shall not be less than EUR 25,000.00.
MINOR:
The exceeding by political parties, by more than 1% and by less than 3%, of the limits on election expenses provided for in Organic Law 5/1985 of 19 June on the General Electoral System, without prejudice to the provisions of Article 134 of said Law.
SANCTION:
A proportional financial penalty of two to five times the amount of the overspending. The penalty shall not be less than EUR 5,000.00.
